Updates Regarding COVID-19 and the FGWA Annual Convention

FGWA Annual Convention & Trade Show

May 28-30, 2020
Orlando, FL

As on Friday, 3/13/2020…

Given the impact of COVID-19, we want to assure you that our Board of Directors and Staff are monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as local public health authorities. At the current time, we plan to move forward with the 2020 FGWA Annual Convention & Trade Show given that we are more than 2 months out. The FGWA will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and notify members, attendees, exhibitors and speakers if circumstances change.

We hope you continue to make your plans to participate in the Convention. Registration is open with an early-bird deadline of April 17 . The Omni ChampionsGate is currently accepting reservations within the group block. The Omni DOES NOT require a deposit when making reservations. Cancellations must be received by the hotel by 12PM, three business days prior to check-in, in order to not be assessed a penalty.

Stay Informed and Be Prepared
FGWA is committed to ensuring our response during this challenging time is responsibly based in facts, not driven by fear. Following are important resources to monitor as you consider your plans to join us in May. We continue to closely review all guidance from global, federal and local health authorities to implement what is needed for the good of our show community and the good of our industry.

Our Work with Local Partners in Orlando
We continue to work with all show partners including the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, and the Orlando Convention & Visitors Bureau to ensure that the safety of all Annual Convention & Trade Show participants is the highest priority at the event.
