Your representation at the Florida Capitol is vital to ensure the groundwater industry has a voice.  The FGWA Government Affairs and Environmental Committees works alongside our Lobbyist to ensure that we we:

  • address legislative and regulatory issues that may impact the use, protection and development of groundwater resources in the State of Florida
  • inform and educate legislators of the importance of groundwater

FGWA Political Action Committee (PAC) Fund

The FGWA has developed a legislative action fund to which members may contribute in order to ensure that the association can properly respond to state governmental action or initiatives by other groups that would have a negative impact on the ground water industry. This legislative action fund remains completely separate from FGWA operation and membership. Contributions are deposited into a separate account that is reported to, and audited by, the state of Florida.

The FGWA PAC is registered with the Florida Department of State Division of Elections to receive contributions and is in compliance with all applicable laws.
