Call for Presentations

The Florida Ground Water Association (FGWA) is now accepting presentation proposals for the 2026 Annual Convention & Trade Show! This is your opportunity to share your expertise, showcase innovative practices, and help strengthen Florida’s groundwater industry.

We’re looking for presentations that educate, inspire, and bring practical value to contractors, drillers, manufacturers, and service professionals.

Suggested Presentation Topics

While all relevant proposals are welcome, we’re especially interested in sessions covering:

  • Basic Electricity
  • Well Logging (types and applications)
  • Fluid Dynamics
  • OSHA Rules for Water Well Drilling
  • Proper Pump Selection
  • Proper Tank Selection
  • Drilling Fluids & Additives (Mud vs. Air vs. Driving Casing)
  • Driller Safety (Hard Hats, Eye & Hearing Protection, Risk Management)
  • Welding Basics for the Field

We also encourage manufacturers to share technical insights, such as pump sizing charts, tank selection considerations, or valve operation fundamentals—topics that are valuable for new drillers, service techs, and experienced professionals alike.

Submission Deadline: All presentation proposals are due by November 21, 2025.
